In the course of the game, players take control of the Allied forcesto lead them to victory, taking part in a series of battles and operations that actually heppanened during this period. Unity of Command II takes players to the western of World War II. The production is the result of cooperation between the independent 2x2 Games studio and Croteam (authors of such games as Serious Sam and The Talos Principle). The new units and the new terrain type, bogs, are of course useable in the scenario editor, and a few mods sprung up after the last DLC that used its assets.
